Survival Kits for All Possible Occasions

Our survival kits are important to own for any business, car, or home. Survival kits in the event of a man made or natural disaster can be the difference, between life and death. A survival kit contains only the most essential materials to protect people in the event of a disaster.

A survival kit is a great way to fulfill the responsibility of being a good boss, or great parent. When disaster strikes, there is nothing more important than ensuring the health and safety of our families. Having one of our survival kits, on hand, can help in the event of a hurricane, tornado, fire, earthquake, or a manmade disaster, like a blackout or terrorist attack.

A survival kit offers different life saving materials based on its purpose. The standard home survival kit has 2,400 calorie food bars to maintain your strength. Water boxes with straws to keep your family hydrated, thermal blankets to maintain your body heat, a first aid kit, in the event of any injuries occurring, water purifying tablets to clean unsanitary water for use, a whistle, dust masks, and much more. All of the materials in our survival kits are there to optimize the chance of survival and getting rescued.

If you live in an area where certain types of natural disasters, like earthquakes or hurricanes are more common, we offer specific survival kits for each disaster.  For example, a survival kit designed specifically for earthquakes will contain equipment, which will strap down your furniture. There will be no need to worry about furniture sliding and hurting one of your family members, during an earthquake.  No matter, where you live a survival kit should be owned, just in case. With our great prices, it’s foolish not to invest in a survival kit, which can save your life in the case of an emergency. Along, with one of our survival kits, every family should discuss a plan of action, to raise the probability of survival.

Prepare Yourself With A Survival Kit

You never know when a disaster might hit your area, and if it does, you have to be as prepared as you possibly can be.  Some areas are more prone to disaster than others such as, California with its earthquakes or Kansas with its tornadoes.  However, you can be anywhere in the world when mother nature takes a turn for the worst and if you are not ready for what she has in store, then you’re just simply out of luck.  Knowing what to have in stock in your home is what is essential when planning for such a predicament.
Putting together a survival kit is a great way to go about doing this.  In a survival kit there should be, needles and thread, paper cups, plates and plastic utensils, non-electric can opener, cash and/or travelers checks, fire extinguisher, waterproof matches, hammer, duct tape, candles, cooking stove and fuel, extra batteries, utility knife, roll twine and any more common household items that you think would be beneficial.  Aside from those items, there are so many more things you have to remember about when preparing for a disaster.  Every person in the household should have at least another pair of clothing and shoes readily available, blankets and sleeping bags, raingear, hats and gloves.
If you have babies in your family, you want to make sure you remember bottles, diapers, formula and any medication that is crucial to your baby’s health.  For adults, make sure not to forget any prescription medications, denture needs, eye glasses, or heart and blood pressure medication.  Food is an obvious need that everyone should make sure they have enough of.  Canned goods and anything that will keep for a long period of time are your best bet.  Everyone should make sure that they have an emergency kit ready to go no matter how much you think that a “disaster” will not strike your area.  Being prepared will only pay off in the end so make your survival kit today.
